Our employees are our most important resource. Therefore, the well-being of our employees is crucial for us. We therefore do our utmost to ensure that everyone has a good day at work, gets home safely and returns happy again. It's best for everyone – and simply good business.

Safety clothing and protective equipment

We take good care of your safety. Machines can be replaced and repaired – but our employees should ideally be able to function for many years without damage or wear and tear. You are therefore always provided with the right equipment, safety clothing, protective equipment and work tools for the task. And have access to replacements as needed at all times of the year.

Upskilling

At Tscherning, we believe that both the company and the individual employees are ensured the best possible well-being and development through ongoing upskilling. Therefore, it is our goal that all employees have an individual plan for their professional development while they are employed. We encourage and support training and upskilling of our employees wherever practical, and to the benefit of all parties. We can also tolerate getting smarter ourselves, so we listen carefully if an employee comes up with a wish for upskilling that has not previously been considered. After all, it could end up adding new, important skills to the company. In practical terms, we use both peer training and offer the necessary courses through the relevant providers.

Healthy lunch

At our headquarters in Hedehusene, LIllemosen and in Jutland, we provide a healthy, nutritious and not least tasty lunch arrangement that gives us the best possible foundation for functioning the rest of the day.

Social arrangements

At Tscherning, we believe that the workplace is also a social community. Therefore, the company appreciates employee activities, encourages social events and supports initiatives for these. We sponsor the tigers at the Zoo in Copenhagen, and occasionally invite colleagues and their families into the Zoo. And since trees - and especially the fir tree - are such an integral part of our identity, we hold a Christmas tree event every year around Christmas, where all employees can greet each other over hot chocolate  and pick up their own Christmas tree in the forest. We also have a mountain bike club, a fishing club, go on excursions, invite to concerts and a lot of other things.

INTERNSHIP AT TSCHERNING

Would you like to try an internship at Tscherning?
At Tscherning, we believe that all people should have the opportunity to show what they can do. That's why we give people this opportunity. We employ on the basis of qualifications and willingness to work – not on the basis of people's past.
You can regularly meet Tscherning in presentations, fairs and career events at both DTU and KEA, and we take interns from there to the extent that it makes sense for both parties.

Apprentices

We live off of skilled employees. And we would like to do our part in ensuring that both we and the rest of the construction industry also have the opportunity to employ qualified labor in the future. Therefore, we have a policy of always having a larger number of apprentices employed. We take structural apprentices in collaboration with the technical educational institutions, just as we have put together our own demolition training, where through more than 40 AMU courses, practical training and a mentoring scheme we give people the chance to be trained in the technically complicated subject, such as demolition today is.
